For Decoupling Container Transport and Container Storage Processes

Konecranes Gottwald lift AGVs are in constant motion as active and independent handling machines – and in this way achieve a further increase in work performance per vehicle.

Overview

Lift AGVs are a further development of the proven KonecranesGottwald AGV technology. Unlike conventional AGVs, the lift AGV has two active lifting platforms. These enable the vehicle to lift and place containers independently on transfer racks in the interchange zone in front of the stacking cranes. Two 20’ containers can be handled independently of each other or one container of any size.

The result: shorter downtimes and increased working frequency.
