Modernizations prolong the economic service life of your crane. They can provide a complete transformation of your existing crane as an alternative to replacing it and give you an opportunity to add current technologies.
Lifecycle Care is a systematic, consistent, comprehensive and professional approach to crane maintenance that is supported by world-class tools and processes.
All cranes have a finite service life. The Konecranes Crane Reliability Study (CRS) is an engineering assessment that studies the current condition of your crane and provides a theoretical estimate of its remaining design life. The study looks at structures, mechanical components and electrical systems, and highlights possible maintenance and modernization needs.

For a United States Navy-owned ballistics facility, top-security is always a consideration—even when it comes to overhead cranes. “We perform several jobs there throughout the year, but we have limited access to areas within in the facility,” said Joe Henry, branch manager at Konecranes. “For example, in the new building, we put a small Konecranes CXT overhead crane, but we do not have access to know the crane’s exact application.”
